Welcome to the Watkins Photographic Archive Project website. The Project’s goal is to make my extensive collection of photographs available online to the public. To help make this Project a reality, I have teamed up with the Central Valley Community Foundation and Fresno State’s Henry Madden Library.

Until the Project is up and running through the Madden Library's Special Collection’s website, you can view and individually download from over 160,000 historic and current photographs through the “Photographs” link (currently covering September of 2007 to present). The Index lists links to each event by date. You can search by date or a key word in the title of the event. For now, you may individually download my photographs for personal, non-commercial use for free.

As this is my personal website, I have included a link to some of my Family Genealogy. Also, the Potpourri link has some very interesting items I think you will enjoy.

The success of this historic Photo Archive Project is dependent on sufficient funding. If you would like to support the Project, you may do so with a tax-deductible donation to the “Central Valley Community Foundation” (5260 N. Palm Avenue, Ste 122, Fresno, CA 93704) with a notation that it is for the "Watkins Photo Archive Project." To make an online tax-deductibledonation to the Howard K. Watkins Photo Archive Project Frund, click HERE and scroll down to the Fund's listing.

NOTE: Thanks to a group of local supporters, there is a CHALLENGE MATCH $5000. So your donation will be matched up to the combined $5000!
Thank you.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS #2

I have found an easy way for you to 1) support my Photo Archive Project, 2) lower your electric bill, and 3) reduce your carbon footprint.

The Howard K. Watkins Photographic Archive Project has partnered with Seth Tilley at Donald P. Dick Solar, a Central Valley company that has provided reputable work and quality service for over 45 years.

Donald P. Dick Solar offers high-quality solar installations, using American-made panels, at extremely competitive pricing. They believe the residential solar lease does not make sense for most homeowners, so instead, they offer solar system ownership covered by a full 25-year warranty! Financing is available, and in many cases your monthly utility savings will be greater than your finance payment! In most cases you will pay A LOT less than if you signed up for a solar lease, or if you did not go solar at all. Solar ownership will also add value to your home and help protect you against future PG&E rate increases.

Please contact my friend Seth (seth.tilley@mrcool4solar.com)  or call him at (559) 288-0771 to find out if going solar makes sense for you.   You might be surprised at today’s numbers, and he will be happy to give you information so that you can make your own informed decision. Plus, Donald P. Dick Solar has agreed to donate $500 to the Howard K. Watkins Photographic Archive Project for every customer that has their system installed through this referral!  Now you can help the environment, support the Howard K. Watkins Photographic Archive Project, and take control of your energy costs—all at the same time!

Thank you.
